Krista Cameron was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2007 and spring 2008 at the University at Albany. She was a member, captain and co-founder of the UAlbany Women’s Club Soccer Team. She also graduated magna cum laude in May with a bachelor of arts degree in English. She plans on attending NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development this coming fall where she will be studying for a master’s degree in speech and language pathology.
Dean’s list
John Beyer of Highland Mills was placed on the College of Engineering dean’s list for the 2008 Spring Semester at Villanova University in Philadephia, Pa. He is the son of William and Mary Beyer.
Nicole Vasti has been named to the dean’s list at SUNY Oneonta for the spring semester. She is the daughter of Diane and Frank Vasti of Monroe.
Brendan O’Brien of Monroe, a biochemistry student, was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Selection is based on completing and passing all assigned courses with no grade below a “C” and attaining an academic average of at least 3.4.
Christine Thorsen of Monroe has been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2008 semester at Manhattan College. She will be a senior this fall majoring in business/marketing. She is the daughter of Richard and Sharon Thorsen.
Eric Thorsen of Monroe has been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2008 semester at Manhattan College. He will be a sophomore this fall majoring in international studies and pre-law. He is the son of Richard and Sharon Thorsen.
Anna Stroynick of Harriman was named to the president’s list at the State University of New York at Geneseo for the spring semester 2008. To be on the list, a student must have achieved an A in all coursework (4.0 grade point average) while taking at least 12 credit hours.
