From Fletcher Street to 42nd Street

Come on along and listen to the lullaby of Broadway ... right here in Goshen. The Burke Catholic Drama Club is putting on the musical extravaganza, “42nd Street,” May 1, 2, and 3 at Burke Catholic High School. Show times are 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. on Sunday. “42nd Street” was one of the longest running shows on Broadway after it opened in 1980. Burke drama students have been tapping and singing for months rehearsing and preparing for the big show. Come out and see their rendition of director Julian Marsh’s efforts to successfully stage a musical extravaganza at the height of the Great Depression.
