M-W Middle School hosts charity volleyball game on May 8

Central Valley - The Monroe-Woodbury Middle School will host a first-of-its-kind “school vs. school” staff volleyball game on Friday, May 8, beginning at 7 p.m. in the school gym.

All proceeds raised from ticket sales, and a portion from the 50/50 raffle, will go to help Julia Young, a high school student who was seriously burned in an accident recently, as well as two Sapphire Elementary School families - the Klemchuk-Uhelsky family and the Woodley family, both of whom are experiencing a medical crisis.

Admission is $2 plus one canned food, which will be donated to our local food pantry. Tickets are now available at all school offices.

Organizers said all Monroe-Woodbury schools will be participating “yo promote spirit and good will amongst our students, ... and to connect with other school families.”
