    Golden Hill students celebrate fifth grade graduation


    Florida - More than 200 parents, friends and relatives gathered for the fifth grade Golden Hill Elementary School graduation on June 22.

    S.S. Seward Institute Principal Michael Rheaume was the guest speaker. Certificates of Graduation were presented by Superintendent of Schools Douglas W. Burnside and Principal Ronald De Pace. Other guests included Florida School Board member Karyn Meier, Director of Instructional Support Dr. Paula Aston, Florida Teachers’ Association Vice President Timothy Healy, PTA President Allison Gill and James Sosler, American Legion Representative, Post #1250, Town of Warwick Police Officer Vincent Cossentino and teachers.

    American Legion Awards: Cole Gill and Morgan Schultz.

    Attorney General’s Triple C Awards: Joseph Diaz and Kathryn Warren.

    N.Y.S. Comptroller’s Achievement Award: Sara Kovatch.

    Florida Teacher’s Association Awards: James Sfugaras, Miranda DiMontova and Benjamin Conklin.
