PINE ISLAND — The Rogowski Farm in Pine Island will hold two pesto-making workshops: the first, on Tuesday, Aug. 25 at 7 p.m. and the second, on Saturday, Aug. 29 at 11 a.m.
Participants will learn how to make a variety of pestos using different herbs, different nuts and different cheeses using the farm’s own products.
For this class, participants should bring their own food processors or blenders and a sharp knife. They should eat a light meal beforehand because the class includes time to sit down and taste the pesto preparations.
Tuition is $15 or free for Rogowski CSA members. Limit 10 per class date. To register, e-mail sara@rogowskifarm.com or call 258-4574.
