Police station is drop-off for ‘Food Frenzy’

Chester — The Town of Chester Police Department will be participating in the “Hudson Valley Food Frenzy” from Sept. 10 to 21, a food and money drive to benefit the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley. Non-perishable food and cash contributions (checks only) will be accepted in the lobby of the police station at 1786 Kings Highway from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Checks should be made payable to the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley.

Donations are also accepted online at www.foodbankofhudsonvalley.org.

The department will be competing with other local law enforcement agencies to see who can collect the most food during the “Frenzy.”
