Warwick Antique Barn showcase features a variety of artisan products

Brook shows her creations made at the Art Studio in Highland Mills.

Warwick — Local businesses will host a free indoor/outdoor show on the creek side grounds of the Warwick Antique Barn on Saturday, Sept. 26.

Organizers said the event will offer browsers “an inspiring harvest of contemporary folk art, paintings, vintage goodies and a special showcase of more than 300 heirloom quilts.”

Earth Angels — the all female artist cooperative (featured in “Country Living” March 2007) — will offer a variety of folk art décor, soft sculpture, wearable art and more. Vintage textiles dealers, Rosie Graney and Roseanna Mihalick (speaker and author aka “The Hankie Lady”) will present their linens and quilts; and painter Jennifer Lanne (featured in “Country Living” July 2006) will serve as the event’s special guest. Lanne will showcase her paintings and demonstrate her painting style throughout the day.

The show will be open from 11 a,m. to 4 p.m. Raindate is Sept. 27.
