    WVT to air legislative debate nightly until Election Day

    WARWICK - WVT Communications’ Channel 12 on the company’s digital TV is airing a debate between the three candidates for the office of Orange County Legislator in District 10 at 7 p.m. nightly.

    The debate between Republican candidate Albert Buckbee III, Conservative candidate and incumbent Bernard Winstanley, and Democrat candidate Scott Schwartz was held at Warwick Valley High School on Oct. 22. Local personality and entertainer Dick Wells served as moderator.

    The event was produced by WVT Communications under the direction of Eirik Solberg, Web and video content administrator, with the assistance of Pat Dool, telecommunications teacher at the high school, and video production students who make up the Wildcat News Team.

    The debate will also be simulcast as streaming video on the company’s Web site. To view the debate online at 7 p.m. nightly, visit wvtc.com/community.
