    Holy golf swing!

It was a slam-dunk hole-in-one for Mike Dalzell of Sparta at the Annual Pope John High School Booster Club Golf Outing that won him a 2010 Cadillac SRX supplied by McGuire Chevrolet Cadillac. A shotgun start put Mike and his group on the par 3 hole #9 to start their round. After watching the rest of his group tee off and miss the green, Mike stepped up and hit his ball into the cup. Witnesses described how the ball hit the bottom of the flagstick and then dropped into the hole without ever touching the green. Sean McGuire, left, is handing the keys over to Mike in the showroom. McGuire Chevrolet Cadillac, located in historic downtown Newton, has supplied many hole-in-one vehicles to local charity golf outings over the years as part of its commitment to the community it serves.
