Annual benefit will include jewelry raffle

SPARTA — J. Thomas Jewelers has donated an 18-inch triple string chain with a sterling silver pendant to be raffled off at this year’s Festival of Trees. This necklace, with a value of $875, was created by designer Leslie Greene.

The jewelry is currently on display at J. Thomas Jewelers in Sparta. For a chance to win this necklace, purchase a $5 raffle ticket at the Junior Woman’s Club of Sparta Festival of Trees event, held at the Lake Mohawk Country Club Ballroom Friday, Dec. 4 and Saturday, Dec. 5, or from any Junior Woman’s Club of Sparta member. The drawing will take place at the Holiday Gala on the evening of Dec. 5.

All proceeds will benefit Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy (CURE), an organization dedicated to finding a cure for epilepsy a disease that affects over 3 million Americans of all ages.
