    A view from the top


    Firefighters from the Walton, Sugar Loaf, and Trout Brook companies recently visited Chester Elementary School to eat lunch with the students and share information about fire prevention and safety. The highlight of the annual event is always the trip outside to see the line of equipment. Unfortunately, this year many of the trucks were called away to an emergency, but the ladder truck was able to stay behind. Cindy Walsh, the school’s principal, was treated to a ride in the bucket and a bird’s eye view of Chester.
