‘Lasso the Cure’ rally kicks off diabetes campaign

Getting the 2010 Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) ‘Walk to Cure Diabetes’ campaign on the trail to success are (from left) JDRF Special Events Coordinator Kristin Hepsen, Roman Zaboronek, his wife Susan and daughters Abigail (front) and Emma, and SussexBank VP/ Business Development Officer Tony Torre, who has been named the foundation’s 2010 corporate chair for Sussex/Warren Counties. The Zaboronek family is successfully meeting the challenges of Type-1 diabetes with their daughter Abigail, thanks in part to the work of the JDRF. This year’s fund-raising campaign will culminate in a 5K Walk at Olde Lafayette Village on Sunday, Oct. 31. For information visit www.walk.jdrf.org or call 201-568-4838.
